Evisort Engineering is expanding. We seek a Senior Software Development Engineer to work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain and expand our contract management solutions, leveraging AI to transform business processes related to contracts.

You will be instrumental in advancing AI initiatives and delivering value to legal and business professionals worldwide. Your responsibilities include:

1. Partner with engineering, data science, product, and design teams to build and execute on our vision and roadmap.

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years with Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• 3+ years with RDBMS and NoSQL databases

Other Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven applications using Kafka or SQS
• Proficiency in building and consuming external APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Proficient in Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch or DynamoDB
• Understanding of distributed systems and modern development practices
• Experience with DevOps, automated testing, and observability
• Ability to operate effectively in Agile teams and participate in on-call rotations
• Experience leading software projects from design to release
• Excellent communication skills, especially with legal professionals

Workday Pay Transparency

The salary ranges vary by location and are part of a comprehensive compensation package including bonuses and stock grants. Specifics will be discussed during hiring, based on multiple factors.

Primary Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Salary Range: $132,800 - $199,200 CAD
