Ringside Talent in Toronto, Canada, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design and ship enterprise-grade applications on the Microsoft stack.

This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere in Toronto while collaborating with product and QA to deliver reliable features. You will build scalable systems with C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and microservices, deploy on Azure, and optimize SQL Server performance.

Formación

• Experience building scalable enterprise applications with C#, .NET Core/.NET and REST APIs.
• Proficient in designing and deploying cloud-based apps on Azure (Functions, App Services, DevOps).
• Strong SQL Server skills: T-SQL, stored procedures, design, tuning.
• Experience with event-driven systems using messaging (Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and microservices

• Write efficient T-SQL and stored procedures, shape database designs, and tune queries for performance in SQL Server

• Take part in design discussions and code reviews to keep quality and maintainability high
• Track down and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
• Work closely with Product and QA partners to deliver features that are reliable and well tested
• Share knowledge with teammates and help raise engineering standards

This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned engineer to design and ship enterprise-grade applications on the Microsoft stack, working fully remotely from Toronto, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications with C#, .NET Core/.NET, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven systems using message queues, publish/subscribe patterns, and technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
• Ability to work independently and communicate well in a remote environment
