Job summary

Splashdot is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with proven expertise in Microsoft-stack web applications to join our Product Development Team. This is a full-time remote position, but you must reside in Western Canada and be eligible to work within Canada.

The role involves working on a variety of applications, primarily web apps and APIs, with independence from day one and the flexibility to shape your career.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional C# web development experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET legacy (3.5/4.7).
• 5+ years MS SQL Server / T-SQL experience; direct DB work without ORMs.
• 5+ years core front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React or Vue a plus (plus jQuery).
• Experience developing enterprise-level web apps; Azure App Services and DevOps a plus.
• Understanding web app security best practices; vulnerability assessments knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Requirements

• The requirements below are minimums required - please do not apply if you do not possess the experience or skills identified herein:5+ years of professional experience with C# web development, including .NET Core and ASP.NET legacy applications (3.5 and 4.7)
• 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL. Database skills are crucial for this position, and you must be comfortable working directly with T-SQL without reliance on Entity Framework or other ORMs.
• 5+ years of professional experience with core front-end web skills: HTML, CSS, Javascript. Experience with clientside frameworks such as React or Vue, as well as jQuery, is a plus.
• Proven experience developing enterprise-level web applications. Experience with Microsoft Azure App Services, DevOps, and related technologies is a plus
• Understanding of web application security best practices, including preparing for and interpreting vulnerability assessments and pen tests.
• Superlative organizational and time-management skills, including independent management of deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken English
