Job summary

Alithya in Toronto (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior C#/.NET Developer to design, develop, and evolve enterprise applications. You will work across client engagements and internal projects, applying C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in software development, strong Azure experience, and solid knowledge of SQL Server, EF Core, and modern UI frameworks like React or Angular.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years hands-on software development experience focusing on C# and .NET technologies.
• Extensive experience with .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and EF Core.
• Strong experience designing Azure-based applications and services.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Strong OOP, software architecture, and design patterns knowledge.
• Experience with React/Angular/Material UI or similar and workflow/business automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and enhance cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
• Develop and support workflow-based applications and business process automation.
• Contribute to design and optimization of complex processing engines for high-volume transactions.
• Design and optimize SQL Server/Azure SQL databases with stored procedures and data integration.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices, SOLID principles, and patterns.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Support application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
