Join to apply for the Sr. Salesforce Developer - Contract role at Moneris.

Our team has an opportunity for a Sr. Salesforce Developer (1-year contract) to ensure that:

1. We maximize the value of the Salesforce program;
2. Oversee the implementation of Salesforce;
3. Manage ongoing operational and continuous improvement processes across Moneris.

This role involves analyzing sales leads data, making recommendations on operational initiatives to support strategic decision-making, and supporting marketing and business intelligence needs. It is accountable for the sales team with the Salesforce system.

Location

You will be based in our Toronto office and work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Software Development and Architecture.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, develop, update, and repair solutions to improve the product through development, design, and business intelligence.
• Conduct data analysis to support business requirements and transfer design concepts across environments.
• Analyze business requirements for complex issues and determine the best solutions, including some user interaction.
• Participate in architecture, design, and implementation of complex software, following best practices for the full software development lifecycle.
• Build solutions that operate platforms powering our business, working directly with software users to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Manage projects from scoping requirements to launch.
• Conduct product reviews to ensure functionality meets future user and client requirements.
• Conceive new features or re-architect areas for user and performance improvements.
• Mentor junior members and perform peer code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of Force.com development and administration experience (preferably certified).
• Experience with debugging tools such as APEX logging.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming languages (APEX, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Salesforce Certifications (Admin, App Builder, Developer, AI Specialist).
• Experience with Agile practices and tools.
• Mulesoft Integration experience.
