Suncor Energy is seeking an experienced Sr Rotating Equipment Engineer/Advisor to lead vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and diagnostics for rotating equipment across upgrading, mining, and energy generation operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or CET/Red Seal with relevant experience.
• 10+ years in rotating equipment, with heavy industrial vibration analysis and diagnostics.
• Experience in predictive maintenance, reliability methods, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of bearings, gears, couplings, shafts, motors, pumps, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-wide vibration analysis and condition monitoring across assets.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on rotating equipment to identify faults.
• Troubleshoot imbalance, misalignment, bearing and gear defects, and related issues.
• Develop predictive maintenance strategies to improve reliability and lifecycle performance.
