• At least 8 years of experience in banking, AML investigations, or a financial crimes-related field.
• Proven expertise in Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) filing and writing.
• Strong understanding of AML regulations, including PCMLTFA.
• Ability to assess ML/TF risks across multiple customer and product types.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex findings professionally.
• Strong technical skills, including experience using searchable databases and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional judgment, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Ability to learn internal systems quickly and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. QC Risk Analyst - STR. In this position, you will perform critical reviews of AML investigation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the organization’s risk management initiatives. Pay rate range (CAD): $68.30/hr– $81.96/hr

Desired Skill-Set

• Ability to assess a wide variety of ML/TF risks across multiple customer and product types.

• Strong technical skills, including experience using searchable databases and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional judgment, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Discretion handling confidential information.

Nice to Have

• AML QC/QA experience.
• Prior knowledge of organizational AML processes and systems.
• ACAMS certification.
