V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Project Manager for our premier client in Toronto, Ontario.

Education and Experience

• Must Haves:
• 8+ years’ experience in delivering AI and automation solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience managing financials at a program level, including operating and capital expenses.
• 3+ years’ experience working with third-party vendors in large-scale organizations.
• Public Sector Experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute standards and Project Management Body of Knowledge.
• Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices.
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related regulations.
• Ability to recommend software, hardware, and technology resources.
• Experience managing project monitoring, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring project effectiveness.
• Ability to address conflicts between project and functional areas.
• Experience managing client relationships and expectations.
• Proven ability to develop and manage project schedules, scope, and deliverables.
• Promotes best practices in I&IT project management and adherence to standard methodologies.

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop requirements and maintain detailed project schedules and plans.
• Lead organizational development, strategy, and business planning efforts.
• Participate in steering committees and stakeholder forums.
• Provide project, program, and portfolio reports to senior stakeholders.
• Resolve resourcing and interpersonal conflicts, and share knowledge among team members.
• Develop complex project budgets across multiple funding sources and dependencies.
• Identify issues and risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Manage change resistance and support project phases from concept to close-out.
• Promote standards and best practices for project management within OPS I&IT.
• Manage large project budgets with fiscal control and accountability.
