Job description

As a Senior Program Manager at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in leading and executing complex customer programs within our dynamic Space business. This role is critical for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with our strategic objectives and drive overall program performance. With a focus on leadership and results-oriented management, your contributions will directly impact the competitiveness and success of Honeywell in the space sector.

You will report to the Global Space Business Leader and will be responsible for a comprehensive range of activities that include strategic direction, program execution, quality assurance, and team development. Your role encompasses the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Program Execution: Direct and manage the execution of complex customer programs, ensuring that all objectives are met within established scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Align Programs with Strategic Goals: Ensure that customer programs are consistently aligned with Honeywell's strategic vision and business objectives.

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and successful project implementation.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key program performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to program teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.

  • Innovation and Process Improvement: Drive initiatives for process enhancement and innovative solutions that boost program efficiency and effectiveness.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and Reliability clearance.

You Must Have:

  • 8+ years’ experience in program management within the aerospace, defense, or space sectors.

  • 3+ years’ experience managing Canadian Gov’t programs, specifically with the Canadian Space Agency or Department of National Defense
