Nova Scotia Power, a unit of Emera Group of Companies, is seeking a Senior Manager, Substation Reliability in Halifax, NS. You will lead a team of engineers, project managers and technical specialists to drive capital investment programs for transmission and distribution substations.
You will ensure alignment with asset strategies, planning requirements and reliability objectives, while providing strategic oversight across procurement, governance and project delivery.

The Senior Manager, Substation Reliability is responsible for the strategic development, governance, and execution oversight of Nova Scotia Power’s Substation Capital Investment Program.
This position provides leadership to a team of engineers, project managers and technical specialists responsible for project execution, capital planning, engineering design, protection and control coordination, and reliability improvement initiatives associated with the transmission and distribution substation fleet.
The role is accountable for ensuring capital investments are aligned with long-term asset strategies, system planning requirements, asset condition assessments, regulatory commitments and corporate reliability objectives.
