Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead a team of Solutions Architects for the CANPS NatSec/FedCiv segment. You will coach architects, drive architectural best practices, and partner with product teams to deliver cloud solutions for Canadian Federal Government and Financial Services customers.
You will recruit, train, and scale your team while collaborating with sales, services, and marketing to accelerate AWS adoption and customer success.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated technical leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects responsible for the Canadian Federal Government, National Security and Defense, and Financial Services customers. In this role you and your team will partner with sellers as part of an account team, to drive business outcomes for your customers. You will lead, motivate, and coach your team in developing relationships with technical executives, guide customers in using architecture best practices, partner with product teams to invent new solutions on behalf of your customers, and develop internal processes. You will also coach your team in scaling their learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements. You will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right as well as effective in shaping the customer and solutions‑focused skills of your team. You must enjoy learning and introducing new technology in order to help colleagues and customers embrace and adopt new technology. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
