The Canada Specialist Leader leads a team of deep domain specialist solutions architects across AWS Products and Services. This team works in partnership with the local sales organization to accelerate the adoption of AWS cloud across services, solutions, workloads and AWS offerings. This is a critical role reporting directly to the Solution Architect Country Leader, developing and implementing the plan for the national prioritization of specialist resource investments and customer adoption plans for current and future services.
This team provides field leadership with deep domain expertise that ranges across GenAI, High Performance Computing, Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, and Analytics. It also includes cross-service C-level technical conversations and motions related to Application Modernization, Business Transformation through technology, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning adoption.
Base salary range: $194,000 – $291,000 CAD annually (Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal). Total compensation may include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). 8+ years managing technical teams of Solutions Architects or Sales Engineers; experience architecting/operating cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI; direct customer engagement with C-level and VP-level executives; experience with cloud migration, modernization, or transformation; AWS Professional-level certification or advanced technology degree preferred; deep expertise in two or more of: Analytics, Databases, Storage, AI/ML, Compute
