What You’ll Be Doing
You will be joining the Core Banking and Payments Technology Line of Business within CIBC. As a Senior Manager, you'll manage a team of around 10 SAP developers, oversee the ideation and implementation of easy, flexible solutions that enhance Finance data and Reporting. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of support services, and ensure adherence to standards and operating procedures.

How You’ll Succeed
Understanding Requirements – Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate, and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
People Leadership – Lead and coach a high-performing team. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to develop effective solutions to problems.
Relationship Management – Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application programs. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on technology possibilities and requirements.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience with 5-8 years leading a team of developers and are a seasoned professional with the ability to coach and help develop other team members. You are a code quality champion with previous hands-on experience in SW Design using SOLID Design principles. We’re looking for someone with a pulse on futuristic innovative technology; deep understanding of CIBC’s processes and various teams in the eco-system; experience in solution design, SAP FICO, SAP BASIS, S4 HANA, SDI, FIORI, and SAC. It’s an asset if you have a good understanding of finance data, general ledger, and expense ledger. Knowledge of SAP financial eco-system is a big asset. Ideally, you understand patterns of designing applications for cloud and have knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.
You have a degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
