Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed assigned geographic territory forecast by pursuing new sales opportunities and establishing strong business relationships with current and potential clients.
• Train and collaborate with channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities.
• Identify new business potentials across Thermo Fisher Scientific's divisions and coordinate with sales personnel to maximize results.
• Promote Thermo Fisher Scientific’s product offerings during sales calls to maximize client solutions.
• Participate in corporate and focus account initiatives as a team member.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Life Sciences, STEM, or Business.
• At least 3 years of successful laboratory sales experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with multiple channel sales including direct sales and marketing is desired.
• Strong understanding of laboratory markets and diverse product applications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Travel 25-50% throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan; valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team, influence others, and negotiate effectively.
• Proficiency with online CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to achieve goals.
