R2787425 Sr Lab Support Technician, Sampling - Vaccines

Duration: Fixed-Term - Contract 18 months

Location: Toronto, Ontario

The Sr. Lab Support Technician role within Sanofi's quality department is responsible for executing critical sampling activities across utilities and environmental monitoring systems as directed by quality leadership. This dynamic position involves daily collaboration with various technical professionals to collect required samples from both production and utility areas, ensuring timely delivery to appropriate testing laboratories.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Execute and manage sampling schedules in computerized system (Master) for multiple buildings, including preparation of materials and documentation per SOPs/SWIs

  • Collect and process samples for Potable water, PW, WFI, PS/CS, CA systems and environmental monitoring from Grade C/D areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules

  • Verify sampling completion, ensure proper laboratory delivery and sign-off, and maintain computerized system records

  • Manage sampling consumables inventory and coordinate reusable materials logistics (bottles, labels, cylinders, safety equipment)

  • Respond to emergency sampling requests and resampling requirements to maintain compliance

  • Support quality systems through SOP authoring, CAPA assistance, training new samplers, and participating in deviation/safety investigations

About You:

  • Two (2) years Accredited Certificate/Diploma Program (Environmental Engineering, Laboratory Science, Microbial, Sciences, Biology, Chemistry), plus two (2) years of previous relevant work experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.

  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Hours Of Work:

  • Inclusive from Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
