What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and translate complex business and functional requirements into high-level system functionality
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct process walkthroughs to identify goals and pain points
- Create detailed business and functional requirements specification documents in collaboration with stakeholders
- Work with technical teams to design IT solutions that meet business requirements and validate through user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support change management and training initiatives to ensure smooth delivery of complex program changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed specifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows
- Minimum 4 years of experience with user acceptance testing processes, including creation of user acceptance plans
- Strong understanding of Alberta's Carrier Profiling and relevant regulations, particularly the Alberta Traffic Safety Act
- Proven experience in using an Agile/Hybrid approach, with familiarity in tools such as JIRA
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4 years of experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development methodologies
- 4 years of experience gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders
- 4 years of experience in the development of project documents for various initiatives
- 4 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex systems
