Suncor Energy Inc. is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support the instrumentation assets at the Mackay River site, Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will provide technical leadership to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency across E&I systems.
You will engage in risk assessments, PHAs, and MOC processes, lead investigations, and work with maintenance teams to optimize instrumentation performance while benefiting from relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

In this role, you’ll bring your expertise to guide our instrumentation strategy, provide trusted technical leadership, and help ensure our facilities run safely, reliably, and efficiently every day RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED!
You will work out of our MacKay River site in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Hours of work are 40 hours work/week, 10 hrs/day (Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 4:30pm); extended hours may be required based on business needs and turnaround support.
This position is safety sensitive.
If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory.
Relocation support will be provided; we offer competitive housing assistance to eligible individuals.
