About the role
Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, partnering with the Career Centre Lead, the broader talent and HR teams, you will play a key role at Intact in the development and delivery of career programs, tools, and resources that support Intact’s strategic priorities. You will provide career coaching to a diverse group of employees of varying backgrounds, age groups, and experiences, to support their development and career growth.
What you’ll do here:
With your hands-on experience in designing and delivering career/development tools and resources, you will successfully leverage best practices to:
Provide career coaching to employees, develop programs, and initiatives that support the Grow with Us pillar of our employee promise and help turn career development into a competitive advantage for Intact
Create and execute plans to drive adoption of employee information in Workday that support careers, AI, and job matching.
Work collaboratively with L&D and the communications team to drive strong awareness among employees at all levels of career tools and offerings within Intact.
Develop excellent relationships with HR to become a key resource, advisor and expert for the HR community on career programs for employees.
Develop relevant tools, guidance, and training for HR to equip them to support their business with career initiatives.
Proactively identify and involve key stakeholders inside and outside of HR in the development and delivery of career programming.
Participate in project meetings, workshops, and other activities where the presence of careers expertise is needed.
Keep up to date on trends and best practices, and regularly assess the results of career programs to identify opportunities to strengthen and evolve career programming, tools and resources to meet organizational needs.
Recommend or administer relevant assessments as required.
Deliver careers workshops for different business areas independently or in collaboration with the Career Centre Lead.
Measure and report on the success of career coaching at Intact.
Keep up to date on trends and best practices, and regularly assess the results of career coaching offering to identify opportunities to strengthen and evolve and meet organizational needs.
What you bring to the table:
Five (5) or more years of HR or related experience that includes a passion for development, and the desire to create and implement employee-centric solutions.
Experience in coaching and development (ICF or other coaching certification) would be a strong asset.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver presentations / workshops for audiences from Employees to Executives.
Interest and aptitude in technology - experience with SharePoint and Workday would be a strong asset.
Strong ability to work with and analyze data; advanced Excel skills would be a strong asset.
Strong ability to influence key stakeholders.
A collaborative and inclusive mindset.
The creativity and innovation to propose new or out of the box solutions.
Strong agility with ability to deal with ambiguity.
Results-oriented with the ability to work at a quick pace and take initiative.
Strong project management and planning skills.
Bilingualism (English/French) is strongly preferred considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
