What You’ll Be Doing

The Financial Planning Specialist works closely with CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors and their clients to establish a roadmap for their future financial success. The financial planning process reviews the clients’ personal circumstances and objectives, and develops appropriate strategies and solutions to meet both their short-term and long-term needs.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Prepare Financial Plans- Provide specialized advice and consultation on complex financial planning aspects to add value to the client relationship. Offer expertise in strategies for retirement, goal planning, life & wealth protection, milestone & purchase planning, succession, and tax planning.
  • Industry Expertise- Stay updated on economic and financial environments, current events, market conditions, trends, and legislative changes. Provide expertise in dealing with high-value clients with unique needs requiring tailored financial analysis and planning.
  • Branch & Sales Support- Promote financial planning strategies to empower Investment Advisors in asset gathering and retention, supported by product sales and client referrals. Support market activities aimed at developing new business sources and prospects. Assist IAs in client follow-up meetings related to Financial Planning.
