The Opportunity

This position is based in Mississauga. In Abbott’s Diabetes Care Division, we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reporting that supports management’s decision-making process.
• Participate in the quarterly forecasting (LBE’s) processes.
• Provide financial support to sales and marketing.
• Sales analysis and commentary.
• LBE schedules preparation and submission by deadline.
• Hyperion expenses input.
• Sales and Marketing team support.
• Support different projects and implementation.
• Special projects as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Accounting designation is required (CA, CGA, CMA).
• Two to four years previous experience in a similar role. Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, etc.) and financial applications i.e., Hyperion.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Excellent English communications skills, written and spoken.
• Receptive to change and a team player.
• Ability to prioritize and to meet strict deadline requirements.
