Description & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager responsible for the Global Finance function, overseeing an international finance team, and focusing on talent development. The role involves leading the finance organization and collaborating with division, sector, and corporate leaders. The candidate should have experience in financial data preparation, controlling, process improvement, and administration. Reporting will be on business metrics such as Orders, Revenue, EBIT, and Cash, aligned with the business plan. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-motivated, collaborative, and accustomed to a deadline-driven environment typical of a public company.

Essential Functions:

1. Serve as the finance leader for the business;
2. Advise on risks and opportunities, and develop action plans to address them;
3. Partner with Program Managers, Technical Leads, and leadership across divisions and sectors to monitor financial and program performance;
4. Oversee financial reporting for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash, including preparing reports and briefings;
5. Develop financial statements and models for scenario analysis;
6. Manage accounting, pricing, and other finance functions;
7. Coordinate forecasting activities and ensure timely reporting to leadership;
8. Manage milestone invoices and cash forecasts;
9. Establish KPIs and report on program costs and variances;
10. Monitor and report on site EACs and program performance data;
11. Ensure compliance with finance and accounting regulations across international sites;
12. Experience with Program Finance and Earned Value Management (EVM) is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
• At least 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in Aerospace and Defense;
• Proven talent development in the defense industry;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Experience with international finance principles and regulations;
• Ability to create executive briefings;
• Experience managing EACs;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools;
• Experience collaborating with project managers and leaders;
• Proficiency in presenting to executives;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred;
• Fluent in French and English.

Skills & Certifications:

• Recent aerospace & defense industry experience;
• Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program registration;
• Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian Reliability status and Level 2 Security Clearance;
• Compliance with U.S. ITAR regulations.
