Sr DevOps Engineering Lead - AWS Product Owner

Role Overview

The Sr DevOps Engineering Lead - AWS Product Owner manages the AWS infrastructure backlog, translating business needs into actionable user stories. Collaborating with stakeholders and development teams, you will ensure high-value, technically sound solutions are delivered. Your responsibilities include prioritizing work, aligning with strategic goals, and acting as a central contact for AWS infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize AWS infrastructure backlog
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Lead Agile practices within the team
  • Provide architecture and technical guidance to the business
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes, security, resiliency, and risk management
  • Lead initiatives from conception through completion
  • Influence and lead through collaboration and expertise
  • Conduct root cause analyses and share findings organization-wide
  • Enhance application resiliency and reliability
  • Mentor and advocate for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
  • Promote instrumentation and proactive alerting in application ecosystems
  • Monitor and address architecture drift affecting stability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications in Agile, PM, Cloud, DevOps, or SRE
  • Expertise in AWS services, global infrastructure, cost optimization, and security
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Broad understanding of technology platforms, operating systems, and networks
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and shifting environments
  • Security clearance (Reliability Status) is required
Compensation

Base salary ranges from $84,900 to $141,400 annually, excluding bonuses and variable compensation.
