HOOPP is seeking a Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and support secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, with IaC automation and strong security practices. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure reliable operations and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes incident response, continuous improvement, and mentoring teammates while adopting AI-enhanced tooling to improve documentation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on cloud platform design, implementation, and operations.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong networking, security, and incident-response capabilities.
• AWS networking services and Azure equivalents; experience with VPCs, gateways, and firewalling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud, network, and security services.
• Lead initiatives with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure cloud solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
