Job summary

HOOPP Capital Partners is seeking a Senior Associate to advance venture capital and growth equity strategies. You will engage in the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to portfolio monitoring and market research, with exposure to leading fund managers and cross-functional teams.

The role offers opportunities to contribute to strategy evolution, apply AI tools to analysis, and work with internal partners across HOOPP.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, or related investment role.
  • University degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, CS or related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in venture capital, technology investing and private markets.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
  • Ability to research markets, sectors, and fund managers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with clear synthesis of complex ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation and execution of VC and growth equity commitments and co-investments.
  • Conduct due diligence across company, market, financial and risk factors.
  • Build dynamic financial models for valuation and portfolio monitoring.
  • Prepare investment memos and market/diligence materials for internal use.
  • Assist in deal structuring and review of fund documents and terms.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and support follow-on investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; stay current on tech trends.

You will also have exposure to other private capital strategies within HOOPP Capital Partners, and may have opportunities to support the execution and management of selected private equity or private credit investments within the portfolio.This is a foundational role designed for intellectually curious, motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to help advance HOOPP’s venture capital and growth equity strategy over time.
