Job summary

HOOPP’s IT Enterprise Architecture, Cloud and Data Platform Group seeks a Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure AWS/Azure infrastructure; collaborate with delivery, security, and governance teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.

You will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep/ARM, drive automation, observability, and AI-assisted insights while mentoring colleagues and supporting on-call production

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT infrastructure operations and cloud platform experience.
• Extensive hands-on AWS/Azure design, implementation and operation.
• IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM; automation focus.

You will build trusted partnerships with Application Delivery teams, Enterprise Architects, the Project Management Office and Governance, Information Security, Infrastructure Network Product Owners and business partners to ensure that cloud operations and initiatives are fully aligned with organizational objectives.What you will do:Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, reliable, and highly automated AWS infrastructure. Apply systems thinking and insight to balance delivery speed, resilience, cost, security, and long-term maintainabilityLead the investigation of complex production and cloud infrastructure issues.
