Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience with Public Cloud design and implementation. You will be working in a dynamic environment and encouraged to come up with innovative solutions to technical problems, analyze and prioritize problems, putting users at the heart of every decision. You should have proven experience in GCP, AWS, or Azure deployments. Your engagements will involve working directly with customers and prospects. You should be confident in your skills (and limitations), remain calm under pressure, and be willing to mentor less experienced team members. You are seen as a good team player who is keen to share knowledge, listen, and learn from others.

Work Locations

USA 100% Remote, specifically in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and complete key tasks and deliverables, collaborating with others to define and implement solutions based on stakeholder needs.
• Deliver solutions that address new levels of complexity, scale, and performance, enabling breakthrough innovations. Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices, and artifacts that guide customers, and present at forums and media platforms.
• Maintain technical depth and hands-on experience with practices and tools in the DevOps toolchain.
• Design and code modules for infrastructure, applications, and processes.
• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications using Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Public Cloud.
• Experience managing multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters with 75+ nodes on EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Expert knowledge of primary cloud services (Compute Engine, Load Balancing, Cloud Storage).
• Experience automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
• Expertise with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform.
• Experience developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools.
• Proven project ownership and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with automating cloud-native technologies using Bash, Java, Python, or GO.
• Experience with build scripts for release management.
• Knowledge of OTel, Datadog, New Relic, and Synthetic Testing.
• Understanding IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Experience with multi-cloud architecture and deployment.
