The Canada Operations (CanOps) Business Delivery team is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst who will report to the Manager – Wealth Systems Support. The Sr. Business Analyst will represent the business needs for Individual Wealth strategic initiatives.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate, document, analyze, and execute opportunities and requirements within projects to achieve operational excellence, ensure successful delivery, and enhance service quality.

What You Will Do
  1. Conduct critical analysis of projects through stakeholder engagement to assess risks, viability, and manage expectations to meet business objectives.
  2. Guide and facilitate the design of test plans and criteria for acceptance testing of system changes, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements.
  3. Design and implement reporting strategies for data collection, review, and visualization for BAU, projects, and initiatives.
  4. Contribute to the design, execution, and verification of automated and manual tests, including test data requirements.
  5. Establish and oversee business analyst review cycles for documentation.
  6. Ensure work accuracy and completeness to maximize quality and efficiency through continuous process improvements.
  7. Utilize data, relationships, and industry trends to inform decisions and recommendations.
  8. Identify risks and escalate issues promptly.
  9. Provide status updates and participate in defect triage and testing meetings.
  10. Manage own work through goal setting and planning to meet deadlines.
  11. Build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to influence outcomes positively.
  12. Identify and champion process improvement opportunities within the team.
What You Will Bring
  1. Degree in Business Administration and/or relevant certifications such as Business Analyst or Lean Six Sigma.
  2. 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, change management, or process improvement role.
  3. Experience in strategic delivery within the financial services industry.
  4. Knowledge of Insurance and Wealth products is beneficial.
  5. Experience with ServiceNow and data visualization tools.
  6. Understanding of testing principles and methodologies is preferred, especially in a QA environment.
  7. Ability to influence and build partnerships effectively.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  10. Quick learner with creative problem-solving skills.

Certification in project management is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $55,700 - $97,700 annually, excluding variable compensation components. Further details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
