Otis is growing, and we are recruiting a Sr Associate, Account Management to cover the Calgary territory, reporting to the General Manager of the Calgary office. The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through developing a customer prospect pipeline, focusing on winning new maintenance contracts, with additional responsibility for selling incremental repair projects.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units by maintaining good relationships with existing customers
  • Serve as the primary contact for timely resolution of customer inquiries
  • Develop new customers via cold calling, networking, bids, and tenders
  • Develop your own sales strategy to meet sales targets
  • Use Otis’ sales tools to track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results
  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals
  • Collaborate with team members, including other sales reps and field colleagues

What you will need to be successful:

  • A business or technical degree, completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, or 8 years of prior experience in account management
  • Experience in selling technical service agreements requiring consultation
  • Strong customer and service orientation, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of commitment and reliability
  • Target-focused, able to work at pace in a demanding, complex organization
  • Teamwork is essential and required
