Job summary

Rogers Communications, Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Senior Analyst to support end-to-end delivery and optimization of digital experiences across Rogers.com and the Rogers mobile app.

You will translate objectives into clear requirements, manage backlogs, and collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Delivery teams to improve conversion and customer journeys. The ideal candidate is organized, data-driven, with 2+ years in digital product management or a related technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, CS, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • +2 years of experience in digital product management, eCommerce, business analysis, project delivery, digital experience, or related technology role.
  • Experience supporting web and mobile digital products through lifecycle, from requirements gathering through launch and post-launch support.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, story refinement, defect management, UAT, and release coordination.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and other PM tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Experience creating or supporting QA performance reporting, release metrics, dashboards, or operational reporting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery and optimization of Wireline eCommerce experiences across Rogers.com and the Rogers mobile app.
  • Translate objectives into requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog to align with business priorities and timelines.
  • Partner with Product Managers, UX, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Delivery teams to deliver enhancements and new capabilities.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers and escalate issues to drive timely decisions.
  • Support continuous improvement of Wireline customer journeys by identifying friction points.
  • Maintain product documentation, business rules, and processes to support execution.
  • Assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization for clear requirements.
  • Develop understanding of Rogers' Wireline acquisition and self-serve journeys.
  • Own QA performance reporting across the Wireline digital portfolio and track key quality metrics.
  • Create dashboards and reporting for visibility into product quality and release performance.
  • Support launch readiness activities including testing validation, defect management, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, QA, Analytics, Content, Marketing, and Delivery teams for successful execution.

Who we're looking for

Reporting to the Manager, Wireline eCommerce, the Senior Analyst supports the delivery and optimization of digital experiences across Rogers.com and the Rogers mobile app. The role focuses on enhancing customer buyflows, driving digital sales, improving conversion, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer experience. Working closely with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Delivery teams, the Senior Analyst manages requirements, backlogs, documentation, dependencies, risks, defects, and release activities to ensure successful product delivery.

The role also leads QA performance reporting and operational insights, tracking quality metrics, testing outcomes, defect trends, and release readiness to improve product health and customer experience. This hands‑on role combines product coordination, stakeholder management, eCommerce optimization, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, data‑driven, and passionate about digital experiences, with an interest in growing into a Product Manager role.

What you'll do
  • Product Ownership & Delivery
    • Support the end‑to‑end delivery and optimization of Wireline eCommerce experiences across Rogers.com and the Rogers mobile app, with a focus on customer acquisition and self‑serve buyflows.
    • Translate business objectives and customer needs into detailed requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
    • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure work is aligned with business priorities, customer impact, and delivery timelines.
    • Partner with Product Managers, UX, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Delivery teams to successfully deliver product enhancements and new capabilities.
    • Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers, escalating issues proactively and helping drive timely decisions.
  • Wireline Buyflow Optimization
    • Support the continuous improvement of Wireline customer journeys by identifying friction points, usability issues, and opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience.
    • Maintain product documentation, business rules, process flows, and requirements to support efficient execution across teams.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to capture enhancement opportunities and translate them into actionable product requirements.
    • Assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities to ensure development teams have clear and well‑defined requirements.
    • Develop a strong understanding of Rogers' Wireline acquisition and self‑serve customer journeys
  • QA Performance Reporting & Release Excellence
    • Own QA performance reporting across the Wireline digital portfolio, providing visibility into testing progress, defect trends, release quality, and overall delivery health.
    • Track and analyze key quality metrics, including defect volume, defect leakage, test execution progress, release readiness, and post‑launch performance.
    • Partner with QA teams to identify recurring quality issues, recommend process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide stakeholders with clear visibility into product quality and release performance.
    • Support launch readiness activities, including testing validation, defect management, sign‑offs, production verification, and post‑launch monitoring.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Design, Engineering, QA, Analytics, Content, Marketing, and Delivery teams to ensure successful execution of product initiatives.
    • Participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, requirement walkthroughs, defect triage sessions, user acceptance testing, and release planning activities.
    • Help ensure that customer experience, business objectives, technical requirements, and quality standards remain aligned throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Build strong working relationships across teams and act as a key point of coordination between business and technology stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
    • Prepare project status updates, delivery summaries, and performance reports for leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and next steps in a clear and concise manner.
    • Coordinate meetings, action items, and follow‑ups to ensure accountability and execution across teams.
    • Leverage data and insights to support product recommendations and prioritization decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement & Professional Development
    • Contribute to improvements in product delivery processes, team efficiency, and operational execution.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and enhance delivery quality.
    • Stay current on digital commerce trends, customer experience best practices, and product management methodologies.
    • Continuously build expertise in digital product management, Wireline eCommerce, customer journey optimization, and digital quality assurance to prepare for future Product Manager opportunities.
What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • +2 years of experience in digital product management, eCommerce, business analysis, project delivery, digital experience, or a related technology role.
  • Experience supporting web and mobile digital products throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering through launch and post‑launch support.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, story refinement, defect management, user acceptance testing, and release coordination.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and other product management and collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to support product decisions and prioritization.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, or supporting QA performance reporting, release metrics, defect reporting, delivery dashboards, or operational reporting.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with website and mobile app experiences, digital buyflows, eCommerce platforms, telecommunications, or subscription‑based products is considered an asset.
  • Experience with digital analytics and customer experience platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, Dynatrace, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, with the ability to leverage data and insights to identify customer journey opportunities, support product decisions, and measure digital performance.
