As a Sr Advanced Test Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead the development and execution of test strategies and plans. You will design test methodologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for product improvements. You will also mentor test engineers.

You will report to the Sr Engineering Manager and work out of our Mississauga, ON location on a Hybrid schedule.

Design

Be part of a team that designs, modifies, and implements test equipment solutions for Qualification to DO-160. Execute development and qualification tests, investigate issues, propose fixes, and verify solutions.

Lab

Maintain the Qualification Lab and equipment, follow processes, set up and execute tests, and support the product team through development and qualification cycles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Qualification Lab and equipment
• Set up and execute EMI & PQ Development and Qualification Tests
• Create Qualification Data Packages
• Participate in Test Build Design and work with vendors
• Present Test Data and findings in meetings
• Develop and maintain lab processes and capabilities
• Support training and testing schedules

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• At least 6 years of experience in Electromagnetic Effects testing, standards, and specifications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMC32, TILE, Nexio Software
• Experience with EMI Receivers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Amplifiers, Signal generators, antennas, oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, ABD0100.1.2, ABD0100.1.8.1, D6-16050-4, MIL-STD-461
• Ability to travel as needed
