Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Estimator to join our estimation team. The role focuses on preparing accurate quotations for labor and materials, reviewing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with internal teams to support successful project execution.

You will attend tender site visits, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and ensure estimates are comprehensive and competitive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma in Fire Protection Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2-3 years of sprinkler design, project management, and/or estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler codes and standards, including OBC and NFPA.
  • Familiarity with fire protection products, materials, equipment, and fire pumps.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Construction estimating experience of 2+ years is preferred.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Estimator to join a dynamic and collaborative estimation team. The successful candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, along with hands‑on experience in fire sprinkler design, estimating, and project coordination.

Location: Vaughan, ON

Work Arrangement: In-person
