Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking a Business Analytics intern in Toronto for the Winter Term (Jan 4 – Apr 23). You will support reporting, insights, and analytics projects across marketing, ticketing, broadcast, and strategy, helping transform data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post‑secondary program in business/analytics relevant to marketing analytics.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for polished reports and executive-ready presentations.
• Experience with AI tools to accelerate analysis and presentation development.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
• Interest in marketing analytics and measuring campaign performance with data.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with email marketing, CRM platforms, and campaign reporting is a plus.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; passion for sports/entertainment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring business performance reports and executive-ready presentations.
• Analyze data using SQL, Python, Databricks and/or R to identify trends and insights.
• Assist in marketing analytics and email/CRM campaign reporting.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations; translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Marketing and BI teams to enhance cross‑channel measurement.
• Create insightful PowerPoint presentations and research to aid decision-making.
• Help automate recurring tasks and improve reporting processes.
