Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking a finance intern to support the finance team in business planning, forecasting, accounting, treasury, tax, and strategic planning cycles. You will work with FP&A processes and ERP/CRM systems to gain hands-on experience in financial operations.

The role is for a post-secondary student and requires strong Excel skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program focused on Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF.
• Understanding of Balance Sheets and P&Ls.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A monthly reports and variance analyses.
• Assist with loading budget and forecasts into Oracle ERP.
• Prepare data for uploads and billing schedules.
• Generate ad hoc financial insights for operational teams.
• Assist in tax filings and reconciliations.
• Attend meetings and take notes.
• Coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Participate in special projects.
