This is a full-time role at the heart of one of the largest sport sponsorship portfolios in the country, spanning amateur and professional sport from coast to coast.
The team operates as a Centre of Excellence within CTC, working alongside top sport properties, marketing partners, and athletes. From the Canadian Olympic Committee and the NHL to the WNBA and the Professional Women’s Hockey League, the partnerships you'll help manage are both high-profile and genuinely meaningful. This includes the award-winning Women in Sport initiative — Canada's first 50/50 commitment by a brand to equitable sport investment.
Day to day, the Sport Partnerships Consultant supports relationship management with CTC's select sport partners, working to maximize return on investment across a diverse portfolio. You'll collaborate with the Associate Manager, Sports Partnerships to plan and execute strategic season plans and activations, leveraging partner assets to drive business objectives across CTC's family of retail banners.
This role requires someone who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining the attention to detail that strong partnership management demands. You'll work cross-functionally with teams across the business, communicate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to budget tracking and performance reporting. A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence without formal authority are essential to thriving here.
Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $53,000 – $88,000, with a typical hiring range of $53,000 – $70,000 depending on experience, internal equity, and market factors. Canadian Tire is looking for someone who is highly organized, a strong communicator, and comfortable working across a large, complex organization with multiple stakeholders and retail banners.
Post-secondary education in Sports Management/Marketing/Sponsorship, Event Management. 3-5 years of proven experience in events, marketing, sponsorship and/or sports marketing. Bilingual (FR/EN) an asset, but not required.
