Job summary

Living Sky School Division’s Spiritwood High School is seeking a Temporary Full-time Educational Assistant to begin immediately, with a contract end date of January 29, 2029. The role supports students in core subjects in both small groups and the classroom, promoting engagement and success.

The ideal candidate has a minimum Grade 12 education and childcare experience; a post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare or Youth Care Worker is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset.

Summary of Position

This posting is for a Temporary Full-time (1.0 FTE) Educational Assistant at Spiritwood High School, commencing immediately with a contract end date of January 29, 2029. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
