Job summary

ErinoakKids Center for Treatment and Development in Oakville is seeking a Speech-Language Therapy Assistant to support therapy programs for children in school settings under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

You will work with the SBRS SLP and school team to plan services, manage a caseload, and document care while maintaining communication with families about treatment plans. Travel to SBRS locations and a 37.5-hour week are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Communicative Disorders Assistant or equivalent.
• Clinical experience with children with speech and language difficulties.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience with school-age students preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Travel is required for the SBRS role.
• Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
