Job description

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. Continuous improvement in quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to and under the direction of the Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Coordinator, and as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, the Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for providing quality, patient/client-centered speech-language therapy services.

Travel may be required for this position. Transportation arrangements must meet Island Health's operational requirements and may involve the use of a personal vehicle.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience
  • Current licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Speech-Language Practitioner.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
