Speech Language Pathologist

Position Overview

Reporting to the District Principal/Vice Principal, Inclusive Education Services, the Speech Language Pathologist provides assessment, intervention, consultation, and planning services for school-aged students with speech-language and communication delays and disorders. The primary focus is on elementary school students, employing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). The Speech Language Pathologist collaborates with the Inclusive Education Team to support schools, students, and their families. We seek candidates who:

Required Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active Membership in the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (conditional registration supported until full registration)
  • Ability to provide in-services on inclusive education topics to various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of BC Ministry of Education Special Education Policies and Procedures
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle for district-wide travel

The salary range for this full-time position is $71,323 to $109,520 per annum, with initial placement based on education and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
