Job description

Speech Language Pathologist

Effective Immediately

Reporting to the District Principal/Vice Principal, Inclusive Education Services, the Speech Language Pathologist provides assessment, intervention, consultation, and planning services for school-aged students with speech-language and communication delays and disorders. The focus is primarily on elementary students, utilizing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). The Speech Language Pathologist collaborates with the Inclusive Education Team to support schools, students, and families. We seek candidates who:

And possess the following education and experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active membership in the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (conditional registration supported until full registration)
  • Ability to provide in-services on inclusive education topics to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of BC Ministry of Education Special Education Policies and Procedures
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle for district travel

The salary range for this full-time position is from $71,323 to $109,520 annually, based on education and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
