ParaMed is Canada's leading provider of home health care services, offering Speech Language Pathologist roles in Elgin County, St. Thomas. The position is part-time with casual to part-time options, job sharing, and contractor opportunities.

The successful candidate must be a registered SLP with the Ontario college, have a valid G2/G license, and access to a reliable insured vehicle. They will assess speech, language, communication and swallowing, and report progress to the Case Manager.

Qualifications

  • Current active registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Have a valid G2/G Driving License and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Assessment of the client's speech, language, communication and swallowing, and the factors that affect them.
  • Knowledge of legislation, reflective practice, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
  • Systematic approach to decision making during development, implementation, and evaluation of clients.
  • Able to work within a flexible schedule and adaptable environment.
  • Inform the Case Manager of client goals/progress/status through written reports, discussions, or case conferences.
  • Have the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position.
