Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide community visits in Owen Sound, Ontario. You will assess adults in their homes or via virtual visits and work with a multidisciplinary team. You will develop care plans, collaborate with families and professionals, and maintain compliant records while traveling to client homes. New graduates welcome; CASLPO licensure required. This is a unionized, part-time role in the Owen Sound area.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and registered with CASLPO (Ontario) in good standing.
  • New graduates accepted.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) within 12 months.
  • Must be able to travel to client homes in Owen Sound area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home-based speech-language assessments and therapy.
  • Design care plans using evidence-based guidelines.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers and other clinicians.
  • Maintain compliant client records and documentation.
  • Deliver services in person or via telepractice as needed.

Job DescriptionAs a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide community visits to assess abilities and needs of individuals while working with multidisciplinary teams. You will work independently with primarily adult clients in their homes on a face to face basis, or in a virtual capacity for those living outside of the region.
