Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides inpatient assessment and therapeutic services to acute, rehab and complex care adult patients within the hospital setting.

Skills & Abilities

1. Clinical experience in acute in-patient care preferred
2. Experience in assessment, treatment and management of dysphagia and communication disorders preferred
3. Experience in VFSS and FEES is an asset
4. Champions patient-centered care
5. Works collaboratively with inter-professional team members
6. Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
7. Demonstrated problem assessment skills
8. Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
9. Demonstrated individual leadership skills
