Job summary

Tutor Me Education LLC in Beaumont, CA is seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring.

You will deliver personalized instruction based on each student’s IEP, support daily living skills, and build a supportive, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active teaching credential is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting students with ASD and ADHD is strongly preferred.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience providing instruction based on a student’s current academic performance and learning needs.
• Patient, engaging, and encouraging, with ability to build rapport and a positive learning environment.
• Skilled in using visual supports, structured routines, hands-on activities, movement breaks, and positive behavior support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction in foundational literacy (phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing).
• Support foundational math skills (number sense, basic operations, problem-solving).
• Assist with homework and reinforce concepts taught at school.
• Adapt lesson plans to the student’s current learning level (approx. 1st-grade math, 3rd-grade literacy).
• Use clear directions, visual aids, and structured routines to support understanding and engagement.
• Implement positive reinforcement and behavior support strategies when frustration arises.
• Collaborate with family and align with the student’s IEP goals and needs.

At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Beaumont, CA! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Beaumont, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Beaumont, CA
• Schedule: 20 hours a month, 2 sessions a week for 1.5-2 hours
• Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

• An active teaching credential is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD is strongly preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience providing individualized instruction based on a student’s current academic performance and learning needs.
• Patient, engaging, and encouraging, with the ability to build rapport and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Skilled in using visual supports, structured routines, hands-on activities, movement breaks, and positive behavior support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incorporate hands-on learning activities and movement breaks to maintain attention and motivation.
• Collaborate with the family and follow the student’s IEP goals and individualized learning needs.
