Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for Specialty Pharma roles in Kamloops, BC. This casual, on-site position offers 1 day per week with flexible scheduling and an hourly rate of $38.00 to $47.00.

The nurse will provide infusion, injectable, and oral pharmacological care in home and clinic settings, under supervision. Documentation, patient safety, and adherence to pharmacovigilance are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current registration in good standing with provincial nursing body.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS for clinic roles.
• Experience in acute care and/or specialty pharma administration.
• Strong IV skills; central line experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review nursing care plans tailored to each patient.
• Conduct patient health assessments and med administration teaching.
• Obtain IV access (peripheral or central line) as required.
• Prepare and administer specialized intravenous or injectable treatments.
• Maintain documentation and report adverse events as needed.
• Perform routine nursing duties per policy and provincial standards.
