Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Part-time Specialty Pharma Nurse - Registered Nurse in Charlottetown, PEI. You will administer and monitor infusion therapies in home or clinic settings, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation, with support from a Specialty Pharma Supervisor.

The role involves IV access, administering treatments, and close communication with the supervisor to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program and current provincial registration.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS required for clinic role.
• ACLS recommended/asset and to be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Chemotherapy or Biotherapy education is an asset.
• Experience in acute care or with specialty pharmaceuticals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review individualized nursing care plans.
• Conduct health assessments and medication teaching.
• Obtain IV access and administer IV/injectable treatments.
• Monitor infusion-related reactions and document findings.
• Ensure patient safety and report adverse events.
• Follow company policies and provincial standards.
