Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN with BC College of Nurses and Midwives in good standing.
• Strong wound management experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Vulnerable Sector Check valid for 5 years or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized wound care, dressing changes, and skin integrity assessments.
• Conduct initial client health assessments and ongoing care plan evaluations.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications.
• Perform clinical skills and procedures in accordance with provincial scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with Care Coordinators.
• Educate clients and families on post-acute care, infection control, and skin management.
• Follow infection control principles and Universal Precautions.
