Job summary

Senior Solutions At Home, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with wound care experience to join our home care team in Calgary.

The role focuses on delivering client-directed nursing care in the homes of seniors and individuals with health challenges. You will assess, treat wounds, administer medications, and support chronic disease management while collaborating with Care Coordinators and HCAs to ensure safe, high-quality care in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Active and valid CLPNA license.
• Wound care experience (min 1 year preferred).
• Clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Home care or community nursing experience is an asset.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients in their homes.
• Perform advanced wound care, dressing changes, and ongoing monitoring.
• Complete assessments, medication administration, and chronic disease support.
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators and HCAs to deliver client-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare partners.
• Ensure all care meets Alberta Health standards and company policies.
