Job summary

Pomerleau, a national leader in construction, invites applications for a Mechanical Labourer to support our civil engineering and infrastructure teams on large projects across Canada. You will collaborate with trades on-site, perform maintenance tasks, and help ensure safe, efficient site operations.

The role requires CCQ and WHMIS 2015 cards, a Class 5 license, and at least 1 year in a similar role, contributing to a culture of collaboration and quality execution.

Qualifications

• CCQ occupation card is required.
• ASP Construction & WHMIS 2015 card is required.
• Valid driver's license - Class 5 is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Add urea to machinery as required and specified.
• Grease machines and equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist mechanics in various maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report potential problems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work as part of a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting work environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and other trades on the site.
• Perform all other related tasks.

As a specialized Labourer (mechanical) within the Pomerleau civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will work closely with all workers to ensure coordination of the work. Working on large‑scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars, you will contribute to the productivity and efficiency of work on our sites.
