A Senior Contract Management Specialist role is available at Aston Carter in Saint-Laurent, QC. The incumbent will review customer contracts, analyze requirements, and flow down obligations to suppliers, acting as a bridge between customers, legal, program management, and suppliers.

The position requires 3–5+ years in contract management within defense/aerospace/public sectors, with strong experience in RFPs/RFQs, flow-downs, and subcontract administration.

Formación

• 3–5 years or more of contract management experience in the defense, aerospace, or public sector.
• Experience with Canadian government procurement contracts or major defense contractors.
• Strong knowledge of RFPs, RFQs, subcontract administration, and flow-down requirements.
• Collaborates closely with Legal, Program Management, and Supply Chain teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer contracts and identify contractual requirements, risks, liabilities and compliance obligations.
• Flow down customer requirements to suppliers based on scope of work, preserving protections.
• Draft, negotiate and manage subcontract agreements with legal and program teams.
• Ensure supplier agreements protect the organization from contractual and financial risks.
• Manage government and defense contract requirements, including ITB obligations and supplier compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain acceptance of terms and compliance requirements.
• Support RFP, RFQ, proposal and subcontracting activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor contract performance, timelines, deliverables and risk mitigation activities.
• Provide guidance on contractual obligations and resolve complex issues with stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and enforce best practices across programs.
