Job summary

CAE Inc in Canada is seeking a Senior Legal Contracts and Risk Manager based in Montreal to advise, draft and negotiate sophisticated technology agreements. You will enable procurement and business teams to close deals while managing IP, indemnification, and liability risk.

The role requires 5–10 years in licensing, commercial transactions and drafting agreements, with bilingual English/French capabilities and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in law or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years' experience in licensing, IP, commercial transactions, and drafting agreements.
• Flexible in negotiations and able to tailor contracts to business needs.
• Ability to draft creative contractual language for business requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP Ariba.

Responsibilities

• Advise, draft, and negotiate sophisticated agreements across sectors, focusing on technology.
• Identify legal and contractual solutions to enable procurement and business teams to conclude agreements.
• Draft and negotiate software licenses, SaaS, goods, services, MOUs and partnership agreements.
• Advise on IP, indemnification, liability, warranties and risk-mitigation.
